Nominations are now closed for the University’s Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Awards 2025.

Our awards celebrate the brilliant achievements of Herts alumni and the impact they are having both professionally and within their communities.

Celebrating inspiring, ambitious, and enterprising alumni from across the globe, our award winners will demonstrate how Herts graduates think big, stand out, and lead positive change across industry and society.

Award categories ��

Rising Star
To recognise a graduate who is an innovator,�칖aking an impact in industry or society within the last 5 years. They could be a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone who has recently embarked on a new challenge.
Outstanding Achievement
To recognise a graduate who has made and continues to make an�칒mpact and contributes to industry or society in a significant way.
Spotlight award: Business innovation
To recognise a graduate driving innovation in industry or society. They could be an enterprising�칋usiness owner or an industry leader advancing their organisation.
Alumni Ambassador of the Year
To recognise a graduate who has stayed involved with Herts after their graduation, volunteering their time to support current students or the university community.

Celebrating our winners

The finalists of our Vice-Chancellor's Alumni Awards 2025 will be informed once the judging panel have met and agreed their final decisions.

As part of the prize package all award finalists will be invited to join a celebratory event in the UK with members of the university’s senior leadership team, where the overall winner of each category will be announced. All finalists will receive an award trophy, certificate and recognition in university communications.

We will announce our winners and those highly commended in Spring 2025.
