6WBS0010 Contemporary Issues in Business and Management (Lvl 6) (Online)

About the course

This module will help you draw on your range of knowledge and skills developed during your studies and/or work experience to review research literature and evaluate business and management responses to contemporary issues in order to inform your practice.

Who should attend this course?

  • Anyone interested in engaging in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) at any level
  • Anyone who would like to test their aptitude for study and take advantage of the opportunity to earn credits for individual Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) 
  • If you do not meet the entry requirements for the full BA Business Administration (online) you can sign up for three modules, and if you pass the modules you will be allowed to enrol onto the full course.

Course content

This module will bring together a range of current research on contemporary strategic issues in business and management and enable you to consolidate their understanding of these issues, whilst giving you the skills and opportunity to examine and evaluate alternative valid views.  You will be asked to use your research skills to develop an in-depth understanding of these contemporary issues while being encouraged to examine and question the legitimacy of alternative approaches to management and to evaluate the impact, if any, of these issues on a business' strategic development.
