Economics

Our economics degrees provide our graduates with key subject and employability skills along with an appreciation of the increasingly international character of markets and institutions.  See our Student Success booklet 2024.

The economics profession offers some of the most fast paced, exciting – and highly paid – career opportunities in business. Our aim is that our graduates leave being fully equipped and qualified to succeed in this career field.

Economics is home to a diverse group of academics whose teaching and research interests cover key areas of business analysis such as institutional economics, sports economics, econometric analysis of money demand as well as happiness and migration.
