A national centre of excellence, Herts is the largest provider of radiography education for Health and Social Work, and the first in the country to offer paramedic degrees. You’ll be trained by our highly supportive academic staff, whose teaching can open the door to an incredibly rewarding career.

Our strong industry partnerships keep us at the cutting edge of health and social care and our practice partners offer excellent student placement experiences.

We have more than 6,000 students and through our evidence-based teaching, we support and create opportunities to build our students’ confidence and develop their skills in their chosen profession. We offer courses across undergraduate, postgraduate and research degree level, as well as continuing professional development for those wishing to enhance their skills, further advancing their careers.
