Life and Medical Sciences at Herts offers a diverse array of subjects for students to study, from Biological and Environmental Science to Psychology and Optometry.

Our landmark Science Building offers fantastic laboratory facilities and learning spaces, where you’ll use research technologies including pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, cell culture facilities and aseptic suites. We have a range of modern facilities to enhance your learning, covering three campuses including our own Field research centre at Bayfordbury.

Our clinical simulation centre is one of the largest in the UK, featuring an intensive care unit, emergency department and operating theatres, so you’ll be able to practise your skills in state-of-the-art learning environments. We are dedicated to training new scientists, practitioners and professionals, ready to tackle many of today’s challenges.
