Paramedic Science

If you’re seeking a fulfilling career as a Paramedic on the frontline of healthcare, our Paramedic Science degrees will provide you with the essential tools and experience for success. Facilities

We have fantastic facilities for paramedic students including:

  • four Paramedic clinical skills teaching labs
  • a range of high-fidelity manikins
  • a high-tech simulation ambulance used for gaining confidence and preparing students for urgent and emergency scenarios
  • a range of high-fidelity manikins to simulate emergency scenarios.

Practice placements

Students on our BSc and MSc Paramedic Science (Pre-Registration) courses undertake placements with one of our partner ambulance services, as we believe that the best way to develop clinical skills and knowledge is by hands-on experience.

We have a dedicated team that manages and supports practice placements. The team includes University lecturers and placement educators who work together and meet regularly to ensure that your clinical practice experience is of the highest quality.

Provides accident and emergency services for people in need of urgent medical treatment and transport in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Provides patients with the highest quality care and contribute towards Londoners having health outcomes among the best in the world.
